2026 Ronald McDonald House Family Walk!

Join us for the 2026 RBC Race for the Kids and RMH Family Walk, scheduled to take place on Saturday, August 15th. This annual event aims to raise funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Upper Midwest (RMHC-UM), which provides a supportive home-away-from-home for families with children undergoing medical treatment in the region.
The race will run along the scenic West River Parkway, beginning near the Guthrie Theater and stretching through the vibrant Minneapolis landscape. Participants can choose from four exciting distances: 10 miles, 5 miles, or 5K runs, as well as a fun Kids' Run for younger participants. The Family Walk offers an equally enjoyable 3-mile journey along the same picturesque path.
For those unable to join us in person, we welcome virtual participation. Every step counts towards our goal of supporting families and ensuring they have access to essential resources during their child's illness.
To participate, simply register online through the official RBC Race website or create a fundraising team. We encourage all runners and walkers to support this worthy cause by setting personal fundraising goals.
The RMHC-UM has been making a significant impact in our community since 2015. In that year alone, they supported over 5,600 families, helping them save millions of dollars on meals, lodging, and essential supplies. Your participation will help continue this vital work.
