2026 Oliver Triathlon

About the Event

The 2026 Oliver Triathlon takes place over two days on Saturday, June 6, 2026, and Sunday, June 7, 2026, starting at 7:15 AM PDT from 6759 Lakeside Drive in Oliver, British Columbia, Canada. Organized by the Rotary Club of Oliver and benefiting the ALS Society of BC, this epic weekend features eight events including Sprint, Standard, Standard Aquabike, Standard Relay, Long Course (1/2 Iron), Long Course Aquabike, Long Course Relay, and the BC Provincial Mixed Team Relay Championships, all set against the backdrop of the South Okanagan's rolling hills.

Event Logistics and Package Pick-Up:

-- Package Pick-Up Location: Tucelnuit Elementary School Gym, Oliver, BC
-- Friday, June 5, 2026: 3:00 PM – 6:30 PM
-- Saturday, June 6, 2026: 6:00 AM – 7:00 AM (Saturday athletes only) and 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
-- Mandatory Bike Check-In (Sunday event athletes ONLY): Saturday, June 6, 2026 from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM. No exceptions – all bikes must be racked in transition by 7:00 PM on Saturday to race on Sunday.
-- Athlete Briefings: Schedule for Saturday and Sunday events to be confirmed.
-- Gift Registrations: Participants can register others as a gift through the event platform.
-- Confirm Registration: Participants can confirm their registration through the event platform.

Course and Venue Information:

-- Swim: Spring-fed waters of Tucelnuit Lake with refreshing early June temperatures between 18–22°C.
-- Bike: Quiet country roads past sun-drenched vineyards and scenic vistas of the South Okanagan.
-- Run: Friendly neighborhoods and alongside the Okanagan River with crowd support to the finish line.
-- World Triathlon Age Group Qualifier: Sprint (1 spot per age group), Long Course (1 spot per age group), Long Course Aquabike (1 spot per age group), Mixed Team Relay (1 spot per age group).

Insurance and Membership Information:

-- Triathlon BC Members (or reciprocating PSOs): Covered with annual membership.
-- Non-Members or USAT members: Must pre-purchase a 1-Day TriBC Membership.
-- All athletes must have valid race-day insurance.

Refund, Transfer, and Deferral Policy:

-- All race entries are NON-REFUNDABLE. Athletes may opt into the Race Roster Enhanced Refund Protection Program during registration for coverage under specific circumstances (work conflicts, injuries, family emergencies, illness, car accidents).
-- Race Transfers (Event to Event): Permitted up to 14 days before the registered event. A $50 transfer fee plus processing fees applies. Only one transfer per fully paid registration. Email Athlete Services ([email protected]) to initiate.
-- Race Transfers (Athlete to Athlete): Permitted up to 14 days before the event with a $25 fee, facilitated through the Race Roster athlete dashboard. Refund protection does not transfer to the new athlete.
-- Changing Race Distances: Available within the same event up to 14 days prior via the athlete dashboard. No refunds for racing down.
-- Cancellation due to weather or unsafe conditions: Entry fees are non-refundable if the event is delayed or cancelled due to adverse or unsafe weather.
-- Course Changes: Entry fees are non-refundable in the event of a course change due to construction, flooding, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Fundraising and Charitable Impact:

-- Beneficiaries: Rotary Club of Oliver and ALS Society of BC.
-- Fundraising Leaderboards: Real-time fundraising totals and goal tracking are displayed for both organizations.
-- Team Participation: View teams and team registration options are available.

The 2026 Oliver Triathlon delivers one epic weekend with eight incredible events, welcoming athletes of all levels to swim, bike, and run through the stunning South Okanagan landscape while supporting local and provincial charitable causes.
