Monster Little Sun Race! The Montane VIA Series Training Event in Wuxi, Jiangsu is set to take place on October 18th at 9:00 AM at Longquan Square in Binhu District. With a total of 800 participants, the event offers two challenging courses: "Wangyue" (20K) and "Xinqiu" (10K). Participants are encouraged to register early as spots will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
The Wangyue course covers an actual distance of 19.7 kilometers with a total elevation gain of 1404 meters, making it ideal for experienced runners looking to test their endurance and climbing abilities. The race starts at 9:00 AM and has a cut-off time of 3:00 PM on the same day.
The Xinqiu course measures an actual distance of 10.3 kilometers with a total elevation gain of 738 meters, catering to both beginners and intermediate runners aiming for a more manageable yet challenging experience. This race begins at 9:30 AM and concludes by 1:30 PM on the same day.
Both courses wind through the scenic hills surrounding Wuxi city, offering participants an immersive outdoor classroom experience where they can hone their trail running skills in classic terrain that has been well-trodden over time.
