About the Event

The 2026 Kelowna Wine Country Runs take place on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 7:00 AM PDT in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada, starting and finishing at Waterfront Park in downtown Kelowna. This scenic event offers in‑person half marathon (21 km), 10 km, and 5 km runs along Okanagan Lake, vineyards, and the Mission Creek Greenway, plus a virtual option (June 1‑30) and a post‑run wine, beer, cider, and music festival.

Start: 7:00 AM • Vineyards, lake views, Mission Creek Greenway, Okanagan Lake to Waterfront Park

10 km
Start: 7:00 AM • Mission Creek Greenway to Okanagan Lake, finish at Waterfront Park

5 km
Start: 7:00 AM • Gyro Beach to Okanagan Lake, finish at Waterfront Park

Virtual Run (21 km / 10 km / 5 km)
June 1‑30, 2026 • Run anywhere, submit results • T‑shirt and finisher medal (no wine glass)

Event Logistics & Participant Information:

Post‑run festival: Wine, beer, cider, and music. Entry included with in‑person registration. Extra festival passes available for purchase (for friends/family not running).
In‑Person Registration Includes: T‑shirt, finisher medal, beach‑friendly commemorative wine glass (in‑person only), post‑run festival access.
Virtual Registration Includes: T‑shirt and finisher medal (no wine glass). Virtual packages shipped June 22.
Course highlights: Okanagan Lake eye‑popping vistas, scenic county roads, landmarks, greenways, lakefront parks, and finish in Waterfront Park.
No refunds or cancellations. Transfer of registration and change of distance subject to change/transfer fee.
Prizes: Top 3 runners in each age category — awards emailed after race weekend.
Distances are sold out for in‑person (waitlist or sold out status). Virtual options also sold out (as shown).
