The event will take place near the Jingxi Ancient Trail Museum northeast parking area located within the scenic Jingxi Ancient Pathway Park in Beijing's Mentougou District.
Participants can choose from various distance options including a solo 10-kilometer route and family-friendly combinations of 2-person or 3-person groups for both 5 kilometers and 10 kilometers. These routes offer an opportunity to explore the historical trails that have been walked by traders, travelers, and merchants over centuries.
As you hike along these ancient paths in late September, you'll witness a landscape transformed into a tapestry of autumn colors. The trail features key historic sites such as Niujiaoling Pass Gate, the Horse Hoof Impressions site, and Ma Zhiyuan's former residence. Each location provides insights into the rich cultural heritage that defines Beijing’s Western Hills and Yongding River region.
