2026 Hoad Hill Harriers Autumn 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run

Hoad Hill Harriers presents their Autumn 5k & 1 Mile Fun Run on Wednesday, September 9th, 2026. The event takes place at Ulverston Park Sports Club (formerly Glaxo Sports Club) located along North Lonsdale Road in the heart of Ulverston, Cumbria.
The evening kicks off with a family-friendly fun run starting promptly at 6:15 PM for those looking to enjoy a shorter distance. At 6:45 PM, participants will gather once more as runners prepare for the main event – a scenic and challenging 5k race through Ulverston's picturesque landscape.
Competitors in both events can look forward to receiving mementos upon crossing the finish line of the 5K run, while all fun-runners are awarded with medals. The top three male and female finishers will be recognized along with special awards for U18, U16, and veteran categories starting from age 40.
Team spirit is also celebrated at this event; teams can compete for prizes based on the cumulative performance of their first three members wearing club vests. This makes it a great opportunity to connect with fellow runners while enjoying healthy competition.
For those who wish to participate in the main race, the minimum age requirement is eleven years old, and children under eight must be accompanied by an adult. The event offers ample parking space along with changing facilities, toilets, and refreshments for all attendees.
