Celebrate Hispanic & Latino Heritage Month with the Hispanic & Latino Half Marathon, an inclusive and vibrant race that honors the rich culture and contributions of the community. This EPIC race not only offers participants a memorable running experience but also supports local nonprofit organizations dedicated to serving Hispanic and Latino communities. The event takes place in Boston, offering runners scenic routes through diverse neighborhoods while raising awareness for important causes. The half marathon route winds around culturally significant landmarks, providing an immersive journey that highlights the city's vibrant heritage. Meanwhile, the 5K offers a shorter but equally engaging course, perfect for those looking to enjoy the atmosphere without committing to longer distances. Registration fees vary depending on when you sign up: - Half Marathon: Early Bird ($75), First Release ($85), Second Release ($95), and Final Release ($105). - 5K: Early Bird ($30), First Release ($35), and Second Release ($40). The race weekend is packed with activities, including a bib pickup at the HOKA Boston Store on Friday from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm and Saturday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. On race day, participants can look forward to live music performances and delicious burritos provided by Felipe's Taqueria. Proceeds from the event benefit several local charities: - Casa Myrna - Hyde Square Task Force - Inquilinos Boricuas en Acción (IBA) - Stride for Stride These organizations work tirelessly to support housing, education, and community development initiatives within Boston’s Hispanic & Latino communities. By participating in the race, runners contribute directly to these vital efforts. Join us as we come together to celebrate heritage, promote unity, and make a difference through sport. It's more than just running; it's an opportunity to connect with others while supporting meaningful causes close to home.
