2026 Hinstock 10k and 5k Fun Run PLUS Childrens Fun Run

Nestled in the heart of Shropshire, Hinstock Memorial Hall is set to host an unforgettable day of running and family fun on Sunday, September 6th, 2026. The main attraction is the undulating 10k race that starts at 11:00 am sharp, offering runners a scenic journey through the picturesque roads surrounding Hinstock village.
Participants in this challenging yet rewarding course will be treated to breathtaking views and an exhilarating experience as they navigate the rolling hills and winding paths. The first three male and female finishers will receive special recognition along with age category prizes for those over 40, 50, 60, and even 70 years old. All participants who cross the finish line will be awarded a medal and goodie bag.
Early registrants can secure their spot to receive a complimentary t-shirt by signing up before July 21st, 2026; however, those registering after this date won't have access to the pre-ordered shirts but are still welcome to join in on all other aspects of the event. With a limit of 200 runners, early registration is highly recommended.
For families and younger participants, there’s also an engaging 5k Fun Run scheduled for 12:30 pm. This family-friendly route offers a shorter yet equally scenic course that remains entirely closed to traffic, ensuring safety for all ages from toddlers to grandparents. The first three male and female finishers will be recognized with prizes, while every participant receives a medal and goodie bag.
The day kicks off even earlier at 10:30 am with an approximate 2km fun run designed specifically for children aged 1-13 years old. This event features closed roads to ensure safety as kids can participate on their own or accompanied by one adult if needed. Prizes will be awarded to the top three boys and girls, along with a medal and goodie bag for all participants.
Race numbers are available at race HQ upon arrival, allowing runners plenty of time before the start to collect their essentials and make final preparations. The event promises not just racing but also an entertaining day filled with live music from 10 am until 6 pm, providing ample opportunity for families to enjoy post-run activities on-site.
