2026 Cheonan Hope Sharing Marathon

On Sunday, November 29, 2026, runners will gather at Gyeoreui Madang within the Independence Hall of Korea for an inspiring charity run. The venue, located at 1 Dongnipgwan-gil, Mokcheon-eup in Cheonan-si, South Korea, offers a rich historical backdrop and serene surroundings. Participants can choose from three courses: a family-friendly 3.65 km walk (KRW 19,000), or more challenging 5 km and 10 km races (both KRW 39,000) with timing chips provided for the longer distances.
The event is organized by the Chungnam Community Chest of Korea in collaboration with the Cheonan Sharing Volunteer Group. Runners will have a unique opportunity to meet Lee Bong-ju, an influential figure whose scholarship association supports descendants of Korean independence activists. The race day includes a special running segment alongside Lee Bong-ju and concludes with a photo session and autograph signing.
All participants receive finisher medals as a token of appreciation for their support. With check-in starting at 8:00 AM, the races begin promptly at 9:00 AM, offering an enriching experience that combines physical activity with meaningful community engagement.
