The 2026 Canyon to Coast Marathon, 21k, 11k & 4k takes place on Saturday, June 6, 2026, starting at 5:00 AM PDT from Island 22 Regional Park on Cartmell Road in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada. Hosted by Run Like A Girl Adventures Inc., this family-friendly event supports the Dolly Parton Imagination Library and showcases the incredible Fraser River, Cheam Mountain Range, and Chilliwack's surrounding landscapes, with distances including a marathon, 21km, 11km, and 4km – plus a virtual option for those unable to attend in person.

Event Logistics and Participant Information:

Event Day Package Pickup: Saturday, June 6, 2026, at 7:00 AM.
Registration Includes: A $5.00 donation to the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, a finisher's medal, finish line food and party, aid stations, event bib number, timing (not chip), overall finisher awards and prizes from Garrison Running Co., an epic day on the trails, a superbly marked course, and draw prizes from donors and sponsors.
Family-Friendly Activities: A reading picnic area is available for families.
Virtual Option: Participants who cannot attend locally can register for the virtual event and run their chosen distance wherever they live. The event package (bib number, finisher's medal, and $5 donation) is mailed and arrives before June 6, 2026. Virtual registration closes earlier to allow time for shipping.
Territory Acknowledgment: The event takes place on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the Stó:lō Coast Salish peoples.
Sponsors: Baseline Fuel, Garrison Running Co., Land Studio and Cafe, Castle Fun Park, Hofstedes Country Barn, and Terra Breads.
Fundraising: The event supports The Optimist Club of Chilliwack Dolly Parton Imagination Library, with CA$1,383.35 raised toward a CA$1,500 goal. Number of participants: 251.

Route and Atmosphere:

42km Route: Follows urban dike trails with approximately 7km total on farm roads. Total elevation gain and loss of 250 metres.
21km Route: Follows urban dike trails with approximately 4km total on farm roads. Total elevation gain and loss of 140 metres.
11km Route: Follows urban dike trails with approximately 4km total on farm roads. Total elevation gain and loss of 100 metres.
4km Route: Follows wide, flat gravel paths within Island 22 Park. The route figure-8s, providing views of the Fraser River and surrounding mountains.
Scenic Highlights: The course showcases the incredible Fraser River, Cheam Mountain Range, and Chilliwack's surrounding landscapes. Less than 5km from Chilliwack's historic downtown.
Community & Charity: Created specifically to support the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, promoting childhood literacy.
Atmosphere: Described as an epic day on the trails with a super duper marked course, finish line food and party, and lots of fun for the whole family.
Run Like A Girl Adventures Inc.: The host organization emphasizes inclusivity and adventure in running.
