2026 Brave Run with Shinhan Bank

On November 21, 2026, the Picnic Area of Olympic Park will host the annual Brave Run with Shinhan Bank. This heartwarming charity event is organized by the Korea Childhood Leukemia Foundation and sponsored by Shinhan Bank to support children battling cancer along with their families.
Participants can gather at 10:00 a.m. for check-in and bib collection, followed by an opening ceremony starting at 10:30 a.m. The run offers two courses tailored to different levels of participation:
The Hero Run covers a distance of 5 kilometers around the scenic loop within Olympic Park. This course welcomes runners with staggered starts scheduled for 11:00 and 11:05 a.m., allowing participants to enjoy the park's lush surroundings while raising awareness.
For those looking for a less strenuous option, the Brave Run is a 3-kilometer route designed for walkers, runners, strollers, and wheelchairs. This course accommodates all ages and abilities with starts at 11:10 and 11:15 a.m., ensuring everyone can take part in this meaningful event.
Registration for the event took place from September 28 to October 15, 2026, exclusively through an advance online application. Regular registration was full by the time of check but families of pediatric cancer patients and invited supporters are still able to apply via a waitlist process.
Participants will receive various items such as capes, badges, timing chips for accurate results tracking, finisher medals upon completion, and children's scarves designed specifically for young participants. Each family is also set to receive one travel-pouch set as part of the event amenities.
Following the run, families can enjoy a range of activities including booths that offer fun games and crafts, a cheering stage where supporters gather to cheer on runners, and a lucky draw with exciting prizes up for grabs.
