2026 Bolt Run

The 26th Annual Bolt Run invites runners of all ages to lace up their shoes for an exhilarating race on November 7th. Whether you're joining us in person or participating virtually, this beloved community event offers something special for everyone.
Each participant will receive a custom-designed 2026 Bolt Run finisher's medal and a high-quality race t-shirt upon completion of the event. Virtual runners will have their bib mailed to them ahead of time so they can participate from anywhere in the world. Despite rising costs, we've kept registration fees unchanged to ensure this remains an accessible family-friendly event.
The day kicks off at 7:30am with a start for the 5K and 5-mile race categories. A separate wave follows shortly after for runners with strollers or pets, ensuring everyone can participate comfortably. Walkers are given their own dedicated start time to accommodate all paces.
For those looking to make this event part of an even bigger challenge, there's the opportunity to join the Tampa Bay Sports Commission’s Team Tampa Bay 5K Champions Club. Completing the Bolt Run alongside two other local races—the She is Football 5K and Running with the Rays 5K—will earn you a special medal and recognition as one of the dedicated champions.
Proceeds from this year's event will once again support Special Olympics Florida, continuing our commitment to giving back to the community. Join us for an inspiring day filled with camaraderie and fun!
