About the Event

Set on a course rich with nature, including the metasequoia tree-lined avenue selected as one of Japan's 'New 100 Landscapes of Street Trees' and the Chinai River cycling road, the Biwako Takashima Chestnut Marathon invites you to run through the fresh autumn breeze. We look forward to welcoming many participants. Entry fees: Half ¥5,500, Quarter ¥4,500 (junior high students ¥2,000), 2km ¥1,000 (an original T-shirt and a local specialty — chestnuts — can be purchased at registration for an extra ¥1,500.)
