2025 Hot Dog Run

The 11th Anniversary HOT DOG RUN!

Hot Dog Run is Midland’s favorite dog-friendly race that celebrates walking/running with four-legged friends! Hot Dog Run has been gaining momentum since it started in 2015. Hot Dog Run is an important fundraiser for Midland Humane Coalition, who help rescue our community’s homeless pet and give them a second chance. 

Midland Humane Coalition (MHC) believes that there is hope for cats and dogs who are in perfectly good health and have wonderful personalities to have a brighter, happier future. And they are working to give them just that - a second chance, a new path.

Registration Details:

Humans and animals of all ages, sizes, speeds, hair lengths & handicaps WELCOME! Every animal must have at least (1) owner. Every human is NOT REQUIRED to have an animal.  Please bring your leashes!

Race Day Schedule:

7:15am- 8:30am Packet Pick-Up

8:30am - 5k BIG DOG'S Start

8:35am- 5k MEDIUM DOG'S Start

8:40am- 5k SMALL DOG'S Start 

8:45am - 1 Mile Start (ALL DOG'S)

9:30 AM - Pet Costume Competition begins (fabulous prizes await top 3 winners of Best Star Wars Costume(s) & Best Costume)

Route:

This route loops around the Midland College campus leaving plenty opportunity for human and animal socialization.

We cannot throw these races without you! Volunteering provides an opportunity to serve participants at aid stations, on the course with directions, with post race food and drinks, etc. Need community service hours? We are happy to accommodate you!
