2025 GVSU Turkey Trot

Description:

Back for its 12th year, the Turkey Trot 5k is returning to Grand Valley's beautiful campus! Join us the Saturday before Thanksgiving, November 22nd, to burn some pre-thanksgiving calories and earn a commemorative t-shirt (and PR). This year's course includes a start and finish under the iconic blue transformational link, a flat and paved (fast) course, and course marshals at nearly every turn. Best of all, proceeds benefit the GVSU Run Club, helping support student-athletes and their passion for running. So come trot for a cause! AWARDS

Awards will be given to the top two in each age category as well as 1st overall male and female.

Age Categories: 0-10, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

RACE DETAILS

Start time: 9 am. Course will be open through 10 am. Participants who have not finished by 10 am are welcome to finish their race; however, course marshals may not be present and finish time may not be officially recorded.

Packet pickup:

4-7 pm on Friday, November 21st at Gazelle Sports in Grandville (plus a 10% discount off Gazelle products when you pick up your packet here!)

7:30-9 am before the race on November 22nd in the Cook deWitt Center. 

Parking: Park for free in Lot H student or faculty parking. Do not park in the "pay to park" spots (unless you want to pay to park there).
