2025 Flat Rock Grateful Gallop 5k/1-Mile

Join us in Flat Rock this Thanksgiving morning (Thursday, November 27th) for the Grateful Gallop 5k/1-Mile!

Avoid the crowds, skip parking headache, and enjoy a local run right here Downriver! This event is perfect for competitive as well as recreational runners and walkers. Swag awarded to all race finishers.

Donations for Helping Hands food pantry and the Flat Rock Animal Shelter will also be collected! Bring your canned food items and/or pet food to be entered into a special raffle!

Where: Starts & Finishes at the Flat Rock Community Center (1 Maguire, Flat Rock, MI 48134)

When: Thursday, November 27th, 2025

Time: Packet Pickup (8:00-8:45am), 5k Run/Walk (9:00am), 1-Mile Run/Walk (9:05am)

Course: 100% paved on local roads and the Downriver Linked Greenways path (5k Course map) (1-Mile Course Map)

Registration: includes officially timed race, t-shirt (*if registered by 11/14), finisher award, post race food/drinks.

SUPER Early Bird (thru August 31st): $25 (5k), $15 (1-Mile)

Early Bird (September 1-30th): $30 (5k), $20 (1-Mile)

Regular Registration (Oct 1- 31): $40 (5k), $30 (1-Mile)

Late Registration* (Nov 1-26): $45 (5k), $35 (1-Mile)

*Shirts for those registered by Nov 14 (limited sizes may be available on race day)
