2. Bokeler Volkslauf

On August 23, 2026, the Sportverein Schwarz-Gelb Bokel e.V. invites runners of all ages to participate in its annual race day at Brunnenstraße 1 in Rietberg. The event features three different distances tailored for various skill levels and age groups.
For young athletes born between 2014 and 2018, the 3 km Schülerlauf offers a fun-filled circuit around the local area. This one-lap race is designed to introduce children to running in an encouraging atmosphere with family and friends cheering them on from the sidelines.
Competitors aged ten years or older have two longer options: the 6 km Volkslauf for those born in 2014 and earlier, and the challenging 12 km Volkslauf open to participants who were born before 2010. Both races begin simultaneously at 10:30 AM with a combined start line that accommodates runners of all ages.
The course is easily viewable on Komoot, providing detailed maps for those wishing to familiarize themselves in advance. Participants can collect their race materials from the event venue before starting and enjoy convenient parking directly adjacent to Brunnenstraße 1.
Runners who register late at the site will incur an additional fee of €2 (except for the Schülerlauf). On-site registration is possible up until 30 minutes prior to each respective start time. Post-race facilities include shower amenities, ensuring participants can freshen up after their efforts.
