1ª CORRIDA PELA VIDA - DANDO O SANGUE

Join the vibrant community of runners and walkers for a meaningful race that combines physical activity with an important cause on October 18, 2026. The event takes place at Área Verde in Colatina, Espírito Santo, Brazil, where participants can choose between two distances: 5 km or 10 km.
The race is organized by Dr. Mariana Guerra to promote awareness about the significance of voluntary blood donation while encouraging people to stay active and healthy. The event will start at 6:30 AM after a pre-race gathering that begins at 5:45 AM, allowing runners plenty of time to warm up before setting off on an officially announced course.
Participants can look forward to receiving a variety of items upon registration, including a race shirt, timing chip, and finisher's medal. Additional prizes will be awarded based on age categories for both male and female athletes across various age groups from 19 years old upwards through senior divisions.
Registration fees vary depending on the lot purchased but offer discounts for individuals with disabilities (PCD) or aged 60 and over, providing an inclusive experience for all runners. The race aims to raise awareness about blood donation without obligating participants to donate themselves, respecting technical and legal criteria set by local health authorities.
