About the Event

Get ready for the ultimate Halloween adventure at Fifth Lake Hudson Valley with UlsterCorps’ 16th Annual Zombie Escape on October 31, 2026. This family-friendly event offers runners and walkers of all ages a thrilling experience amidst the stunning fall foliage.
Participants can choose from three exciting options: a timed 5K trail run through scenic woodland trails where zombies lurk in unexpected places; a leisurely 2K walk that still promises plenty of spooky surprises along the way; or a free 1K Fun Run for kids, complete with themed medals and prizes.
Registration by October 2nd guarantees you a FREE t-shirt and early bird pricing: $25 for adults and $20 for those under 18. Team discounts are available if your group registers before October 26th, allowing teams of ten or more to have their team name featured on the shirts with an additional registration by October 2nd.
The event also offers day-of registration at slightly higher rates: $35 for adults and $25 for those under 18. Custom awards are given in overall categories as well as age groups, adding a competitive edge to this spooky run.
Volunteers who commit two or more hours on race day will receive complimentary entry for a friend or family member. Additionally, sponsorship opportunities are available for businesses looking to support the community and UlsterCorps' mission of fostering volunteerism.
