About the Event

Embrace the Minnesota winter at the Frosty Loon 5K-20K & Kid's Run on January 25, 2026, a spirited cold-weather tradition at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds starting at 9:00 AM. Choose your challenge with looped courses for the 5K, 10K, 15K, or 20K distances, or join the fun with the unique "NoK" option—pay to not run and still get the swag. Kick off the morning with an 8:45 AM Kid's Run, followed by onsite packet pickup and registration starting at 8:00 AM, with pre-race pickup available Thursday, January 22nd, at TC Running Co in St. Paul.

Free parking is available in the Camel Lot, and leashed dogs are welcome on the grounds to join in the frosty festivities. Whether you're layering up for a personal best or simply enjoying the winter atmosphere with friends, this event offers a warm community vibe perfect for shaking off the chill and celebrating the joy of running in the snow.
