13th SoToCCHi 45K (Formerly Trainic World in Sotochichibu 50km & 45km) (第13回 SoToCCHi 45k（旧トレニックワールド in 外秩父 50km&45km）)
About the Event
The former Sotochichibu 50 km and 45 km races have been merged into a single event, SoToCCHi 45K. The route heads from Yorii to Mt. Kanetsukido and Tsukisaka Pass, which previously featured only in the 50 km, then on to Mt. Ogiri and Sadamine Pass. At 46.6 km, it looks manageable, but the off-road share rises from 59% to 66%, and the 2,800 m of cumulative climbing is close to the old 50 km. Once runners reach Iinomori Pass, it is downhill on trail all the way. Mt. Otakatori, the old final boss, is no longer climbed, and the finish is reached by road. The start is in front of Yorii town hall and the finish is at New Sanpia Saitama Ogose. Categories are split by sex and age group.
