RegisterGet ready for the return of the 12 Hours of Sunlight! Bigger, better, and bolder in 2026! After an epic first 2 years of absolute fun, we’re back with this thrilling endurance challenge that will push your limits. Whether you’re flying solo or teaming up with friends, this classic test of stamina is not to be missed!
The Challenge: Race against the clock as an individual or in teams of 2 or 4 to see how many laps you can conquer on our 1.3 mile 1,800-vertical-foot Sun King uphill route in 12 hours. Skin up, ski down, and repeat—how far can you push yourself?
Key Details:
Bib & Schwag Pick-up: Grab your race bibs and gear at Sunlight Ski & Bike (downtown) on Friday, Jan 23rd, from 5-7 PM, or at the Sunlight lodge on race day from 5-5:30 AM. We encourage as many racers as possible to join us downtown on Friday!
Required Gear: All racers must have a headlamp, helmet, and DH-rated skis or a split-board. Helmets are mandatory for all downhill segments—safety first! Note: Snowshoes and uphill-only skis are not allowed.
Race Perks:
At the race's end, join us in the lodge for food, drinks, and giveaways! The top individuals and teams will take home custom 12 Hours of Sunlight gear and lift tickets for the 2025/26 season.
Hydration & Fueling Station: Stay fueled and hydrated at our start/finish line station, stocked with a variety of race-day goodies to keep you going strong.
Drop Zones: There will be both outdoor and indoor drop bag zones for your convenience—choose between the start/finish line or the lodge (just 250 feet away).
Important: There will be no race-day registration, so secure your spot now!
**Parents, coaches or guardians must be present during the entirety of the race if the racers are under 18 years of age**
Ready to take on the ultimate endurance challenge? Register today and see how many laps you can crush in 12 hours at Sunlight!
