11th Naneyumizu Gourmet Ride (第11回 南魚沼グルメライド)

Experience the vibrant South Yuzawa Gourmet Ride on September 21, 2026, as part of the three-day cycling festival in South Yuzawa. This annual event takes place during the region's rice harvest season and offers cyclists a unique opportunity to explore one of Japan’s most renowned rice-growing areas.

The Gourmet Ride is part of an extended cycling weekend that includes two professional road races organized by JBCF (Japan Bicycle Cycling Federation): the 11th Annual JBCF South Yuzawa Road Race on September 19 and the 6th JBCF South Yuzawa Criterium on September 20. These events attract top cyclists from across Japan, making it a fantastic opportunity for spectators to watch professional racing before or after participating in the Gourmet Ride.

For 2026, special discounts are available for residents of Yuzawa Town, South Yuzawa City, and Uonuma City, as well as group rates for four or more participants. A priority pass (VIP Pass) is also now an option for those looking to enhance their experience with extra perks.
Please note that starting in April 2026, traffic violation tickets will be issued for cyclists who do not adhere to road safety regulations. This includes the prohibition of using smartphones while riding, overtaking on narrow roads, and listening to music through headphones. Cyclists are encouraged to participate responsibly and enjoy this wonderful event with respect for local laws.
