Join us for an exciting Saturday session designed specifically for young cyclists aged 10-16 who are ready to challenge themselves and improve their skills. While the primary focus is on intermediate riders, younger participants with sufficient experience may also join after a brief assessment. The event kicks off at 11am and runs until 1pm, offering two hours of structured training and fun activities tailored for young cyclists. The morning begins with an energetic hour filled with drills and group rides aimed at enhancing speed, agility, and teamwork. Following this intense session, there's a short break around noon where participants can enjoy some refreshments they've brought along. We encourage all riders to bring water bottles and snacks to stay hydrated and energized throughout the day. While it’s possible to attend on the day without booking in advance, we recommend pre-registering online for better organization. Online bookings close at 10pm on Friday nights, allowing us to prepare lists of participants for the following Saturday. When registering, please use your child's name rather than yours and remember that HHYCC members receive a £2 discount on their registration fee. Our club relies heavily on volunteers across various roles such as event helpers, bike maintenance staff, and coaches. If you're interested in contributing to any of these teams, we'd be delighted to discuss opportunities with you. This session promises an engaging day out for young cyclists looking to develop their cycling abilities while having fun among peers and under the guidance of experienced instructors. Join us on January 9, 2027, at our designated venue for a memorable morning full of learning and enjoyment.

About Southwark
Learn more about the host city, Southwark.
Southwark is a district of Central London situated on the south bank of the River Thames, forming the north-western part of the wider modern London Borough of Southwark. The district, which is the oldest part of South London, developed due to its position at the southern end of the early versions of London Bridge, for centuries the only dry crossing on the river. Around 43 AD, engineers of the Roman Empire found the geographic features of the south bank here suitable for the placement and construction of the first bridge.
