10 o'clock - beginners - Mountain biking
About the event
Join us for an exciting morning of off-road cycling designed specifically for young beginners aged 6-9 years old. This session is perfect for kids who are just starting to explore the world of mountain biking and want to build their skills on a fun, supportive course. Sessions begin at 10:00 AM and last for one hour, providing ample time for learning and enjoying the outdoors.
Please ensure you register using your child's name rather than yours when booking. For children under 8 years old, we kindly ask parents or guardians to stay on site throughout the session. Arrive about 10 minutes early to allow plenty of time for check-in and bike setup if needed.
If your child is a member of our club (HHYCC), you'll receive a £2 discount per session as part of our membership benefits. Our club relies heavily on volunteers, so don't hesitate to speak with us about joining the register team, helping maintain bikes, or assisting in coaching sessions. We operate these roles on a rotating basis and would love your support.
Experience the thrill of off-road cycling at its best in a nurturing environment tailored for young riders.

About Southwark
Learn more about the host city, Southwark.
Southwark is a district of Central London situated on the south bank of the River Thames, forming the north-western part of the wider modern London Borough of Southwark. The district, which is the oldest part of South London, developed due to its position at the southern end of the early versions of London Bridge, for centuries the only dry crossing on the river. Around 43 AD, engineers of the Roman Empire found the geographic features of the south bank here suitable for the placement and construction of the first bridge.
