10 km du Lagardère Paris Racing

On September 20th, the Lagardère Paris Racing hosts its inaugural "10 KM du LPR" race, weaving together history and solidarity for an unforgettable day at the heart of the Bois de Boulogne. Open to runners aged 16 years and above, this event promises a unique blend of physical challenge and social impact.
The course winds through one of Paris's most beloved green spaces, offering participants a scenic journey that captures both the beauty and heritage of the city. As competitors near the ninth kilometer mark, they will pass through the Lagardère Paris Racing grounds, where the historic grass track at Croix Catelan awaits—a site steeped in Olympic history from 1900.
The route is designed to highlight not only physical prowess but also a commitment to community engagement. Alongside this historical backdrop, runners will encounter portraits of legendary French sports figures that pay tribute to the area's rich sporting legacy.
In partnership with Premiers de Cordée, an association dedicated since its inception in 1999 to providing children in hospitals and those facing disabilities access to sport, every cent earned from race registrations goes directly towards supporting this noble cause. The organization’s mission is driven by the passion of its leaders—Nathalie Péchalat, a former ice dance champion with multiple European titles and world bronze medals, and Christian Jeanpierre, an esteemed sports journalist.
The Lagardère Paris Racing itself stands as a prestigious sporting club nestled in the heart of the Bois de Boulogne. With over 7 hectares at its disposal, it offers tennis/padel, swimming, fitness training, bridge games, and numerous activities for young people, embodying a commitment to fostering both individual athletic development and community spirit.
