On October 11, 2026, lace up your running shoes for the Flèche Race Day, featuring both 5 km and 10 km distances. This event is dedicated to supporting ARSLA, with a donation of €3 from each participant's bib number going directly towards their cause. Join us in raising awareness against Charcot disease. The race will kick off at 10:15 AM for the 5 km category, open to runners born after 2013 and aiming to qualify for national championships. The 10 km event begins an hour later, at noon, right across from Lillébule Pool in La Flèche. The course weaves through picturesque landscapes around Lake Monnerie, offering a scenic route that promises a memorable experience. Runners can expect well-marked paths and clear signage to guide them along their journey. Race day starts early with bib pickup at the Gymnasium of the Monnerie Sports Complex, located on Allée des Fromenteaux in La Flèche. To ensure a smooth start, arrive ahead of time for parking and registration between 8:30 AM and 10:30 AM. Be prepared to present your ID card or passport along with either an FFA-issued valid 2026-2027 competition license (Athlé Compétition, Athlé Entreprise, or Athlé Running) for those currently active in the sport. Non-licensed participants must provide a completed PPS health assessment form available online at https://pps.athle.fr/. No on-site registration will be allowed come race day; all entries must secure their bibs before October 10. The event boasts rich running history, with records set by Alex Franck Ngouari Mouissi in the men's division at 29'44 in 2023 and Charlotte Degorce achieving a women’s record of 35'15 in 2021. Mark your calendars for this inspiring day filled with running camaraderie, scenic views, and a shared commitment to support ARSLA. Prepare yourself for an unforgettable race experience!
