Legauer Naturlauf is set to take place on October 18, 2026, offering runners of all ages and abilities an engaging day out in the scenic town of Legau. The race begins and concludes behind Rapunzel GmbH at Rapunzelstraße 2, where ample parking space will be available for participants. The event kicks off early with start number distribution from 8:00 AM onwards, allowing runners to collect their numbers and make any last-minute registrations before the day's activities commence. At 9:00 AM, there is a brief opening ceremony followed by several youth races designed specifically for young athletes. The Bambini race welcomes children up to six years old (born in or after 2016), while those aged seven through ten can participate in the Kinderlauf at 9:45 AM. For older children and teenagers, there's a dedicated Schülerlauf starting at 10:00 AM for students between eleven and thirteen. Following these youth races is an awards ceremony recognizing the winners of the Radcenter Heiss Kids Run competition at 10:15 AM. The main event begins with two adult categories – a challenging Volkslauf by endurance Training, which covers a distance of 6.5 kilometers (with approximately forty meters in elevation gain), and a more demanding Hauptlauf that stretches to an impressive 11.2 kilometers (including one hundred meters of elevation). Participants can register on-site for the adult races from 8:00 AM with a small additional fee of €5. The day concludes at 13:00 PM when awards are presented to winners in both the Volkslauf and Hauptlauf categories, celebrating their achievements. Whether you're a seasoned runner or someone looking to enjoy a family-friendly event, Legauer Naturlauf offers something for everyone with its diverse race options and welcoming atmosphere.
