Sparkasse OÖ Donautrail 2027

Immer on the banks of the Danube, Linz hosts an extraordinary outdoor adventure: The SPARKASSE OÖ LINZ24 DONAUTRAIL. This unique event is designed for all levels and preferences, offering six distinct distances to choose from—ranging from a challenging 100 kilometers down to a more relaxed 12 kilometers. Whether you're up for an epic trek or prefer something less strenuous, the Donautrail invites everyone to explore at their own pace.
The event is set against the backdrop of Linz’s charming winter landscape, where participants can enjoy scenic trails that wind through natural beauty and urban charm alike. The lack of competition allows runners and hikers to focus on personal achievements rather than racing times or rankings. Embracing self-responsibility and sustainability, this experience fosters a sense of community as friends, families, and solo adventurers come together for an unforgettable day.
Organizers emphasize the importance of enjoying nature responsibly while engaging in physical activity that suits individual fitness levels and goals. With routes varying from rugged terrain to smoother paths, participants are treated to diverse scenery along the Danube’s banks. The event promises a blend of adventure and relaxation, making it perfect for those seeking an immersive winter outing.
