MATUShKINO MARAFON (ZELENOGRAD)

Explore the vibrant city of Moscow through the unique "125 Rayonov-Marafonov" series organized by CITY RUN. This special edition takes place on April 4, 2027, at Rovesnik Park in Zelenograd. Participants can choose from various distances ranging from 5 km to a full marathon (42.2 km), all while enjoying the scenic beauty of parks and riverside paths.
The race is designed for flexibility, allowing runners to start whenever they prefer within the event schedule. The course winds around Rovesnik Park, offering a smooth mix of brick pathways and asphalt roads with each lap measuring 1 kilometer in length. With limited spots available—no more than 20 participants per distance—the atmosphere promises an intimate and supportive environment.
To reach the starting point, take metro line MTSD-3 to Zelenograd-Kryukovo station and transfer to bus route 390 heading towards Rzhevki stop (opposite Rovesnik Park). The journey typically takes about 25-30 minutes. Upon arrival at the park entrance opposite house K. 519, runners will gather near benches for a warm welcome.
Each finisher receives a commemorative medal featuring an emblem of their race location, celebrating both personal achievement and exploration of Moscow's diverse neighborhoods. The event encourages self-paced running without strict time constraints or mandatory check-ins, making it ideal for all levels of endurance enthusiasts looking to discover the city’s unique landscapes in their own way.
For those unable to attend in person, a virtual format is also available. Register online and complete your chosen distance at any convenient location before April 4th; medals will be shipped directly to participants or can be picked up from designated race venues afterward.
