Genneper parken loop

Kick off the New Year at the Genneper Parkenloop on January 10, 2027. This marks the 19th edition of this vibrant running and walking festival designed to energize you for what lies ahead.
The event offers a variety of distances to suit all levels of fitness and interest:
- Running: Take part in either a relaxed 4 km run starting at 10:00 AM or an invigorating 10 km route beginning shortly after. Both courses wind through the picturesque Genneper Parken, offering scenic views and fresh air.
- Trail Running (New Addition): For those who prefer rugged terrain, there's a challenging 11 km trail run that takes you into unsealed paths around Klotputten and Waalre’s forests at 9:45 AM. This event is ideal for runners seeking an adventurous start to the year.
- Walking: A family-friendly walking route of 3 km rolls out at 10:30 AM, complete with wheelchair accessibility options, ensuring everyone can enjoy a leisurely stroll through nature. For those looking for more distance, there's also a scenic 10 km walk starting early at 9:10 AM.
- Kids Run: Encourage the little ones to join in on this fun event by signing them up for the 1.5 km Kidsrun beginning at 9:30 AM. Parents are welcome to accompany their children along the way, making it a joyful family affair.
The race courses have been meticulously redesigned with safety and ease of navigation as top priorities. The routes now feature wider paths and fewer intersections, ensuring smoother transitions for runners and walkers alike.
Participants can register until December 15, 2026, to receive their start numbers by mail. Those who sign up later will collect their number at the event venue on race day. Early registration also allows you to add multiple participants conveniently during your initial enrollment process.
