17eme Authentic Barjots Trail

The Authentic Barjots Trail, now in its 17th year, is set to expand with the addition of a unique youth-oriented race. On February 20, 2027, Pujols will host this exciting new event alongside its established trail runs.
For young runners aged U16 (born in 2010 and 2011), there's an exclusive 4.5 km course that promises to be both challenging and fun. Limited spots are available for the minimes category, with a maximum of 50 participants allowed.
Families looking for a gentle introduction can join the 2.5km IFT race on February 20 at 17:45 PM, designed specifically for children accompanied by an adult. This event is ideal for those new to trail running and offers a supportive environment with up to 50 parent-child teams.
The main attractions of the weekend are the longer trails that cater to more experienced runners. On February 20 at 19:00 PM, competitors can tackle either the 14km NUEIT or sign up for the first leg of the CHALLENGE 45km event. The next day, on February 21st, both distances continue with a second stage starting early in the morning.
The weekend concludes with shorter but no less thrilling races: the 31 km MIMILE and 21 km SKYCOTOS runs begin at 8:30 AM, offering varied terrain for runners to enjoy. The day also includes an option for those looking for something more relaxed—the 10km PETITE TROTTE des COTOS starts shortly after.
Covoiturage is highly recommended due to limited parking options near the race venue in Pujols. Participants can arrange rides through platforms like Klikego, connecting runners from cities such as Bordeaux, Libourne, and even farther afield like Paris or Marseille.
Post-race amenities include access to communal facilities at the Salle des Fêtes where participants can enjoy meals provided by food trucks outside or prepare their own in shared kitchen spaces. Accommodation is also available within the town hall for those who wish to stay overnight; just bring your sleeping bag and a mat.
Recovery services are on hand with massage therapists offering post-race treatments, while runners will have the chance to purchase event merchandise from the official store at the finish line.
