The weekend kicks off with a vibrant 5K on Thursday, followed by a thrilling 10K and Half Marathon on Friday and Saturday, culminating in the iconic Marathon race on Sunday.
Each course is designed to take advantage of Disney's magical surroundings, ensuring every mile is filled with excitement and wonder. Runners will encounter Disney characters along the way, adding an extra layer of fun as they journey through themed neighborhoods and parks. The weekend’s highlight, Donald Duck, serves as the official mascot, leading athletes in a series of playful challenges that are sure to make memories for years.
For those looking to push themselves further, the Goofy's Race and a Half Challenge spans two days, combining elements from both Saturday's Half Marathon and Sunday's full Marathon. This challenge offers an extra dose of adventure and rewards participants with unique experiences at Walt Disney World®.
The Dopey Challenge is perfect for seasoned runners who want to test their endurance over five consecutive days. Participants will face a total distance that rivals the full marathon, providing a grueling yet rewarding experience amidst the magic of Disney's parks.
All races benefit Team Helping Hands and the Anaheim Community Foundation’s Helping Hands program, which supports local nonprofit organizations addressing mental health, food insecurity, literacy, and college readiness. Runners can make a difference while enjoying the thrill of competition and camaraderie in this special event.
Registration fees vary based on race selection, with deposits required at sign-up to secure spots. Fundraising goals are set for each distance level, encouraging participants to contribute positively to their communities as they pursue personal bests.
