Uithoorns Mooiste, de Loop

The 43rd edition of Uithoorns Mooiste de Loop, organized by AKU (Atletiek Klub Uithoorn), promises an engaging day for runners and their families. Set to take place on January 31, 2027, this event offers a variety of distances suitable for all ages and skill levels.
The race starts at Sportpark “De Randhoorn,” located at Randhoornweg 100 in Uithoorn. Participants can enjoy the scenic routes that wind through picturesque areas including De Kwakel and along the Amstel River, providing a unique blend of rural charm and natural beauty.
Registration for this event closes on January 30, 2027, but late registrations are still possible from 9:00 to 11:00 AM on race day at the canteen of v.v. Legmeervogels. The lineup includes a family-friendly GeZZinsloop in two categories (one for children aged 9-11 and another for those up to age 8), both free of charge, as well as competitive races like the Geostick 10 km loop and Takii 10 English Miles.
For runners looking for shorter distances, there’s also a 5 km option organized by Van Schie. Each race offers an opportunity to explore different parts of Uithoorn while enjoying its serene landscapes and historic charm.
Participants are advised to dress appropriately for the January weather, which can range from icy cold conditions to mild temperatures. The event organizers recommend checking out runx.nl’s advice on winter running gear to stay comfortable throughout the day.
In addition, those who have insurance with Zorg en Zekerheid receive a generous 20% discount by using the code ZZ2026/2027 during registration.
Whether you’re joining for fun or competition, Uithoorns Mooiste de Loop offers an enjoyable atmosphere and memorable experience.
