Mid-Maryland Trail Festival 50k and 50k Relay

The Mid-Maryland Ultra invites runners to experience the serene trails of Rockburn Branch Park on Saturday, February 6, 2027. This challenging 50k race features six loops through lush woodland paths, each loop measuring approximately 5.179 miles. Runners can choose from several options: complete all six laps for a full 50k distance or form relay teams of up to six members who will rotate after every lap. The event starts and finishes at the pavilion near Rockburn Elementary School, where participants will find ample aid stations stocked with food and drinks throughout the day.
For those unable to attend packet pick-up on race morning due to park opening times, Feet First Friday offers an early opportunity from 4pm-6:30pm. The course map is available upon request by emailing [email protected]. Be prepared for varying weather conditions; note that extreme circumstances may lead to cancellation at the discretion of local Rec & Parks authorities.
Join this scenic and supportive race community as you navigate through Maryland's beautiful winter landscape, with options tailored to both solo runners and team enthusiasts alike.
